NICHOLSON FLOORING CO WINS
NWFA FLOOR OF THE YEAR AWARD
St. Louis, Missouri (May 31, 2006) - The National Wood Flooring Association is
pleased to announce that Nicholson Flooring Company, Greensboro, North
Carolina, won the Best Kitchen/Dining Room category in the NWFA's 2006 Wood
Floor of the Year Contest. The awards were presented during the NWFA's
convention in Baltimore, Maryland, April 26-29.
The Best Kitchen/Dining Room Category features wood flooring installations
appearing in kitchens, dining rooms, breakfast rooms, and hearth rooms, in a
residential setting.
This year's competition yielded 157 entries from
four countries, including Australia, Canada, the
United Kingdom, and the USA. Winning
entries were judged by members of the NWFA
through on-line voting during March, as well as
on-site voting during the convention.
The National Wood Flooring Association is a non-profit trade organization of more
than 3,900 wood flooring professionals working worldwide to educate consumers,
architects, designers, and builders in the uses and benefits of wood flooring. The
